requirements
A valid
international health certificate proving vaccination against yellow
fever and meningitis is required. Immunisation against
hepatitis A and B, polio, tetanus and typhoid is recommended.
HIV/AIDS
Precautions should always be used as risks are high and not taking the
threat seriously could result in fatal consequences.
Intestinal Infections
To avoid contracting this always remember the following:
Beverages - do not drink:
Tap water, use it to brush your teeth or open your mouth when showering.
Unpasteurized milk
Water or use ice in Hotels, and Restaurants unless you are sure it is
safe, bottled water
Food - do not eat:
Raw fruits and veggies that you have not peeled first or
which have broken skins.
Lettuce in salads if it has not first been treated.
Raw or rare meats, poultry or shellfish
Other
tips to ensure good health

Always sterilise fruit and veggies for at least 10
minutes in a Milton solution

Eat well-cooked food while it is still hot

Do not swim in contaminated water

Wash your hands after touching money or after contact
with other people and before eating

Keep flies off your food, as they are carriers of
disease.
